The National Europass Agency

Europass is a tool which is based upon proximity, making a contact person who understands you available to you, in your country. Therefore, in the decision of 15 December 2004, a National Europass Agency (ANE) was planned for each Member State.

Your National Europass Agency is in charge of…

…at national level:

• coordinating the activities linked to accessing or issuing the Europass documents;
• establishing and managing the national information system;
• promoting the use of Europass, including on the Internet ;

…at European level:

• contributing towards the European agency network;
• following up the implementation;
• collaborating towards the development of the Europass Internet site;
• contributing, together with the authorities involved, towards adapting Europass (format, terminology, content...)
