What is a Europass Language Passport?

Which languages do you speak? The Europass Language Passport is an information tool which documents and presents your language proficiencies. 

The Europass Language Passport has been developed by the Council of Europe; it is part of the European Language Portfolio, which is composed of three documents: the Language Passport, the Language Biography and the Dossier.

The Europass Language Passport has been developed to provide a tool which allows people to:

• show their language skills, even at low levels (self-evaluation)
• mention their diplomas and certificates
• highlight their significant linguistic and cultural experiences

With the help of common reference levels your language qualifications become more comprehensible.
