What is the Europass Mobility?

The Europass Mobility is a tool which documents professional experience you have gained outside of your country of origin, where mobility has been part of your educational and training experience.

This experience could be:

• a work placement in a company;
• an academic term as part of an exchange programme;
• a voluntary placement in an NGO.

The mobility experience is officially organised between two partners, one in the country of origin, the other in the host country.

The two partners agree on the purpose, the content and the duration of the experience; a mentor is identified in the host country.

The partners may be universities, schools, training centres, companies, NGOs, etc.

Who can benefit from the Europass Mobility?
Anybody working or studying in a country of the European Union other than their own.

Where can you obtain the Europass Mobility?
As the Europass Mobility is a document which is issued under certain conditions, the sending partner may submit a request to the agency responsible for the Europass Mobility.
